Tories retain Rothesay in byelection
6/26/2012
Voters in Rothesay were not soured by what political opponents called a patronage appointment for their former MLA. Progressive Conservative candidate Ted Flemming won yesterday's byelection. The seat was vacated when energy minister Margaret-Ann Blaney quit to become president of Efficiency NB. The Conservatives now hold 42 seats in the legislature while the Liberals have 13.
