The Fredericton North Rotary Club, in conjunction with the City of Fredericton have announced funding for the construction of new dugouts at Royals Field and have dedicated them in honour of Fredericton's Bob Kenny. After the baseball season has ended this fall, construction of the new dugouts will start thanks to grants from the Toronto Blue Jays, the Fredericton North Rotary Club, Grant Thornton and the City of Fredericton. Former Blue Jay and World Series hero Joe Carter was also on hand for the announcement.
