The Fredericton Peterbilt DQ Royals won a pair of games on the road yesterday in senior men's baseball action. The Royals beat Charlottetown earlier in the afternoon 9-5 and then completed the road trip defeating Hub City in the evening 15-3. The Royals next game is Tuesday night in Moncton against the Mets. Steve Murphy will get the start.
The Fredericton Swifty Midget AAA Royals won two games in a Midget baseball doubleheader yesterday afternoon, defeating Riverview 12-1 and 15-5. The Royals host Miramichi today for another double header at Royal's field. Game times are 11:00 am and 1:30 pm.
Charlotte County's Greg Fahey had a big night at Speedway 660 last night, winning the A.L. Gullison Disaster Kleenup Pro Stock feature during the Coca-Cola Refreshments Weekly Points Series event. Point's leader Dave O'Blenis came home second and Derek Christie was third. Next Saturday night Speedway 660 hosts its first Enduro race on the 2012 season. Action gets underway at 7PM.
