Fredericton remains perfect on the senior baseball season. Joel Arbeau went the distance for the win as the Peterbilt DQ Royals edged the Hub City Brewers 4-2.
in double-a pee wee baseball...the Point Zero One Royals edged the New Maryland Red Sox 10-9.

New Maryland was a winner in under-12 boys soccer. The Rebels edged the F-D-S-A Caps 2-1.

Gilles Barrieau was on fire at Fredericton Raceway, driving five winners on an 11-dash card. Barrieau scored in the fastest mile of the night, with Ideal Ticket in 1:58. He started the night by winning the first three races.

The Canadian Olympic team track and field trials begin today in Calgary. Two Fredericton athletes, who just happen to be a couple, have earned the right to compete. Sarah MacPherson is going into her third year at the University of Tulsa, while Adam Gaudes has just finished his second year competing for the University of Victoria.

Fredericton's Marc Pepin is back home after a trip to Germany. He won silver medals in doubles and mixed doubles play at the European Senior Tennis Championships in Baden-Baden.
