A Fredericton man is being appointed to the Order of Canada. Ken Maybee -- a past president of the New Brunswick Lung Association -- is being recognized for making the organization an international leader in promoting air quality. The association's current president, Barbara MacKinnon, says she's thrilled with the news; she adds, Maybee's crusade to make human health the driving force for air quality policies and legislation has been extraordinary.
