The Fredericton Peterbuilt DQ Royals defeated the Chatham Ironmen 1-0 last night on Baseball Hill.

The FDSA Canadian Tire U12 boys smashed the Dieppe U12 boys with a score of 7-0 yesterday while in Moncton. The FDSA U11 boys also came out on top with a victory of 12-1 over the Fundy U11 boys.

Luisa Schawaz of Fredericton beat her own record yesterday and finished 2nd in the U 16 2000 meter race at the 2012 Legion Youth Championship in Charlottetown, PEI! She also set an all new record for New Brunswick when she nabbed the silver medal. The province sits at 3 silver medals currently at this event.

Last night in the Geary Woods, Speedway 660 hosted one of the biggest sportsman races in Canada.  Ken MacKenzie took the checkered flag at the Martin's Home Heating Firecracker 150 and also won a nice 3000 dollar prize! The second part of Speedway 660's double header, the Enduro 200, goes today at 2pm.
