A man was rescued and is expected to survive after jumping from Fredericton's Westmorland Street bridge this morning. City police say they began getting calls shortly after 9 o'clock from people who witnessed a man jump into the St. John River. The police marine unit responded, and pulled the man from the water. He was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
