Former members of the eclectic Muckafurgason, Brooklyn's the Quiet Ones are Andy Ure and Chris Anderson, who play kid-friendly songs about such things as bananas and crayons set to adult, '60s-rooted pop melodies. The idea for the project came to fruition when Ure needed friendly music for his daughter and wasn't happy with what was available. The duo released their debut, Make Some Noise, in June 2005.
