I've been in radio since 1979 and it's been a great journey, taking me across the country to meet wonderful people. I began my radio career in Sussex in 1979. I annoyed the local farmers my first day on air by mis-pronouncing heifer.
That one still comes back to haunt me as a Former Fredericton City Police officer (now RCMP) was a young boy living in Sussex at the time and he heard me and still mentions it to me. From Sussex, to Thunder Bay, Moncton, St.John's Newfoundland, Saint John, back to St.John's and finally here to Fredericton. ( Well I suppose I should say the hood, which is where I live). This is definitely the last move for me in the radio business. I am married to a sexy, tall dark haired (at least he has hair now) man, Chris, and have 2 awesome children, Jeremy and Samantha. I am very proud of them both.
During this crazy, loveable career, I have met a number of people including Howie Mandel, I've gone whale watching and screeched in the Tragically Hip and Sass Jordan while working in Newfoundland, have met many politicians, actors, actresses and musical artists and of course the people who make my job possible- you the listener.
